  • Publication number: 20250033060
Abstract: A media column for distributing media in a laboratory with workbenches having worktops and rear longitudinal edge. The column has a vertical support body with a front face receiving a releasably fastened module element to which the media can be fed via feed lines. The module element has a housing with a front face accommodating a removal valve for outputting media. The column has a vertically elongated rigid profile fastened by a first lower end to the upper face of a standing platform. One module element, on the front face of the profile, is a distance from the upper face of the standing platform such that the underside of the housing is a distance above a worktop. The housing protrudes over the worktop. Feed lines for the media have flexible line portions from the second upper end of the profile to a supply point for the media on the ceiling.

  • Publication number: 20250025880
Abstract: A laboratory assembly, and method of operation, having workbenches with a rear longitudinal edge and a ventilation assembly disposed above the workbenches. The ventilation assembly has a central supply-air channel and a return-air channel disposed above the central supply-air channel, said channels being held above the workbenches on a frame composed of profiled supports. Air-guiding panels are disposed laterally to the central supply-air channel. The air-guiding panels have panel edges curved in the upward direction; the air which is heated under the workbenches by laboratory devices and/or IT devices and which rises through a gap provided along the rear longitudinal edges of the workbenches is deflected by said panel edges away from the central supply-air channel in the upward direction into the spatial region above the air-guiding panels.

  • Patent number: 9759444
Abstract: An arrangement for ventilating a room contains a supply air duct arranged above an aisle region for delivering air into a room and, arranged above the supply air duct, an exhaust air duct for discharging exhaust air. The supply air duct contains two lateral air delivery portions which extend along the aisle region and each contain air outlet openings from which the supply air exits laterally. A substantially airtight central separating portion separates the first and the second air delivery portions from one another. The exhaust air duct contains two slot-like suction openings which extend substantially parallel to the supply air duct and are arranged in the ceiling such that there is formed on both sides of the aisle region a rolling air flow via which supply air heated in the region of work tables passes in a vertical direction into the region of the ceiling.

  • Patent number: 7836662
Abstract: A service ceiling is provided for carrying supply lines in a room of a building having at least one aisle region, in particular in a laboratory. The service ceiling is provided with an intrinsically rigid support frame composed of profiled members which is fastened in the region of the ceiling of the room. At least one air inlet duct for feeding in fresh air, and lines for feeding in sanitary media are provided. The service ceiling is distinguished in that the support frame extends in a first plane at a distance from the ceiling of the building, and in that the air inlet duct extends above the aisle region essentially flush with the underside of the support frame, in the plane of the support frame, and in that the lines for feeding in the sanitary media extend above the air inlet duct in a second plane.
