  • Patent number: 8121266
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for checking a ring-back signal comprising the following steps, time synchronizing a first device and a second device, causing an event by requesting the configuration of a ring-back signal with and for the first device at a specific time stamp and capturing the time stamp and the event in a first log file, calling the first device with the second device at a specific time stamp, recording the ring-back signal of the first device, comparing the ring-back signal with at least one reference signal yielding a comparison result, and capturing the time stamp and the comparison result in a second log file, and comparing the second log file with the first log file.

  • Patent number: 7957732
Abstract: In order to mount a mobile phone in a test device, the current between the battery unit and the phone unit is fed through a switch unit. The switch unit contains at least one switch for interrupting the current, e.g. for resetting the mobile phone after malfunction.

  • Publication number: 20110098981
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for processing measured values of parameters of a telecommunication network, wherein the measured values are filtered by a filter unit (30, 31, 32, 33; 300, 22 330) and wherein the filter unit (30, 31, 32, 33; 300, 330) is selected from a set of filter units (40; 54) in dependence on the occurrence and the nature of a network event. The invention relates furthermore to an apparatus (51) for processing measured values of parameters of a telecommunication network, wherein a set of filter units (40; 54) is provided for filtering the measured values in dependence on the occurrence and the nature of a network event.

  • Patent number: 6944448
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the automated analysis and appraisal of a mobile radio telephone system (1). Said method scans calls that are executed as part of a test phase, in accordance with internal and external system parameter values which flag error conditions (e.g. handover errors) or system performance deficiencies (e.g. poor voice quality during transmission). In a subsequent step, the parameters are evaluated in several modules (12.1–12.3) according to selectable grouping criteria, whereby for each module a multitude of relevant events or event sequences are examined and a module quality value (17.1–17.3) is determined with regard to a specific appraisal criterion. The system quality value (20) of the entire system is calculated as a weighted sum of the quality values from the individual modules and can be displayed graphically as a comparison of all groups, with regard to the chosen grouping criterion.
