  • Publication number: 20230225974
Abstract: Solid solution of gum arabic and at least one liposoluble active ingredient having particles of a size of less than 100 µm and a weight ratio of gum arabic to liposoluble active ingredients of 5:1 to 200:1, obtainable by drying an aqueous solution of gum arabic to achieve a fine-particle dry product; admixing the dry product with a solution or dispersion of the liposoluble active ingredient(s) in an anhydrous solvent in which gum arabic is insoluble; mixing in the solution while homogenizing and further comminuting the dry product to a particle size of less than 100 µm; and removing the solvent at a temperature of less than 70° C., as well as method for the preparation of the solution and the aqueous suspension containing it.

  • Patent number: 10485754
Abstract: The process serves for preparing sodium ion-free X carbonate or hydrogencarbonate effervescent powder, such granules or such tablets. The active substances X, at least calcium carbonate, moistened with a small amount of alcohol and water, are mixed as powder with a small amount of lactobionic acid in a partial vacuum in a vacuum tank with continual pumping. As a result, the calcium salt (CaCO3) of the calcium in the surface layer of the powder particles reacts with the lactobionic acid, effervesces and releases a small amount of CO2. Consequently, the pressure in the vacuum tank rises and after the end of the effervescent reaction the internal pressure in the vacuum tank drops back to the starting value through the continual pumping. In so doing, the powder dries. After removal from the vacuum chamber an acid, preferably citric acid, as an effervescing agent is added, and subsequently the powder is electively pressed into tablets.

  • Patent number: 9114167
Abstract: Disclosed is a method in which poloxamer, a resin, and/or a tocopherol is/are fused, and the material that is to be treated is intimately dispersed with said melt. After being introduced into the melt, the material that is to be treated is coated with water to prevent hardening, and the spontaneously forming gel is homogenized. The obtained product is composed of a transparent gel that is based on at least one poloxamer, a resin or a tocopherol, and an active substance which is solubilized, dispersed, and stabilized therein and whose consistency ranges from solid, semisolid, i.e. aspic-like, to liquid. The micelles of said solubilized matter remain stable even when the same is diluted well below the CMC of poloxamer.
