The electronic device may determine whether the calculated feature information and stored registered information match each other by using a dynamic matching scheme in which matching between the feature information and the registered information is variably performed according to a state of the electronic device. When the feature information and the registered information match each other on the basis of a result of the determination, the electronic device may generate an event for authentication success.
