  • Patent number: 11969442
Abstract: Covid-19 binding aerosols are provided. The Covid-19 binding aerosols include Fe3O4 microparticles, at least one organoselenium compound, at least one essential oil, and incense. The Covid-19 binding aerosols may be formulated for use in any product that is capable of emitting aerosols, including but not limited to as air fresheners, as incense, or the like. The Fe3O4 microparticles may have an average size of 5,000 nm-10,000 nm (between 5-10 ?m). The Covid-19 binding aerosols are formulated as aerosol compositions having an average size of greater than 60 ?m-100 ?m to ensure effective binding to virions.

  • Publication number: 20240014408
Abstract: An oxygen evolution reaction catalyst includes a solid solution of at least one valve metal oxide and at least one noble metal oxide, wherein the valve metal oxide is selected from oxides of titanium, oxides of niobium, oxides of tungsten and oxides of tantalum, the noble metal oxide is selected from oxides of iridium, oxides of ruthenium and/or mixtures and/or alloys thereof, the BET specific surface area of the solid solution is greater than 10 m2/g, and the oxygen evolution reaction catalyst exhibits a weight loss of less than 2% by weight upon exposure of the oxygen evolution reaction catalyst to a 3.3 vol % hydrogen stream in argon at a temperature of 80° C. for 12 hours.

  • Patent number: 9058799
Abstract: Sound diffusers are important components in enhancing the quality of room acoustics. The present disclosure relates to a sound diffuser obtained by using properties of the cymatics phenomena. Cymatics is the study of sound and vibration made visible, typically on the surface of a plate, diaphragm or membrane. Two examples of diffusers are designed by the cymatic shapes and modeled by using a quadratic quadratic residue sequence. It is found that this type of acoustic diffusers can be used to maintain the acoustic energy in a room and at the same time can treat unwanted echoes and reflections by scattering sound waves in many directions. The design allows for creating different interior space designs by changing the arrangement of the diffuser panels, and this leads to different applications for the diffusers.
