The variable-flow-path air valve includes a valve body with a top provided with an air intake-exhaust port. A ball valve seat and a floating ball are arranged below the air intake-exhaust port. The valve body is provided with at least one swing check valve configured to be opened inward. The swing check valve includes: a swing valve disc connected to a valve body hinge, a variable-flow-path air inlet controlled by the swing valve disc to open and close, a device for limiting the opening degree of the swing valve disc, and a sealing device. In the present invention, the air valve takes in air through the air intake-exhaust port and the variable flow path, and discharges air only through the air intake-exhaust port.

    Abstract: A method for preparing carbon-functionalized praseodymium oxide includes the following steps: dissolving Pr(NO3)3ยท6H2O in an acid dye solution and stirring to form a mixed solution; adding NH3H2O dropwise in the mixed solution while stirring to adjust a pH value of the mixed solution, thereby forming a suspension, and then aging the suspension for 2 to 4 hours; filtering, washing with water, washing with alcohol, and drying the aged suspension to obtain a carbon-functionalized Pr6O11 precursor; and placing the carbon-functionalized Pr6O11 precursor in a tube furnace under a protection of nitrogen, heating the carbon-functionalized Pr6O11 precursor to a sintering temperature at a heating rate of 4 to 6 degrees Celsius/min, keeping at the sintering temperature for 3 to 4 hours, and then cooling to room temperature, thereby obtaining the carbon-functionalized Pr6O11.

The processor instantiates auto focus tables that are each correlated to a temperature, receives at temperature from the temperature sensor, selects an auto focus table associated with the temperature, and provides an auto focus for the object based upon the auto focus table. Each auto focus table provides a temperature compensated correlation of a first stroke distance associated with the object at the maximum distance from the imaging device, and a second stroke distance associated with the object at the minimum distance from the imaging device.

    Abstract: Phase change material (PCM) switches and methods of fabrication thereof that provide improved thermal confinement within a phase change material layer. A PCM switch may include a dielectric capping layer between a heater pad and the phase change material layer of the PCM switch that is laterally-confined such opposing sides of the dielectric capping layer the heater pad may form continuous surfaces extending transverse to the signal transmission pathway across the PCM switch. Heat transfer from the heater pad through the dielectric capping layer to the phase change material layer may be predominantly vertical, with minimal thermal dissipation along a lateral direction. The localized heating of the phase change material may improve the efficiency of the PCM switch enabling lower bias voltages, minimize the formation of regions of intermediate resistivity in the PCM switch, and improve the parasitic capacitance characteristics of the PCM switch.

    Abstract: A pixel sensor may include a main deep trench isolation (DTI) structure and one or more sub-DTI structures in a substrate of the pixel sensor to increase the quantum efficiency of the pixel sensor at large incident angles. The one or more sub-DTI structures may be located within the perimeter of the main DTI structure and above a photodiode. The one or more sub-DTI structures may be configured to provide a path of travel for incident light into the photodiode from large incident angles in that the one or more sub-DTI structures may be filled with an oxide material to increase light penetration into the one or more sub-DTI structures. This may reduce reflections at a top surface of the substrate, thereby permitting incident light to refract into the substrate and toward the photodiode.
