  • Patent number: 9894783
Abstract: An electronic device includes a framework having a number of ribs to define a number of receiving grooves therebetween, a number of modules detachably received in the receiving grooves, and a pair of elastic members mounted to a respective module. Each receiving groove has a pair of apertures in the ribs. Each of the modules has a pair of through holes. Each of the elastic members includes a protrusion extending through the through hole toward a corresponding rib and a leg resiliently urging the protrusion to fit into a corresponding aperture.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 13, 2016
Date of Patent: February 13, 2018
    Assignee: FOXCONN INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED
    Inventors: Shun-Jung Chuang, Chiang-Nan Hung, Hao-Chang Zhang
  • Patent number: 9847605
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an electrical connector including the steps of: insert-molding a base portion around a shielding plate to form two rows of passageways exposing outwardly and rearwardly; over-molding an insulative housing at a rear of the base portion; and inserting two rows of terminals through the insulative housing to the two rows of passageways, respectively.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9461411
Abstract: A card connector (100) includes an insulative housing (1), a number of terminals (2) affixed in the insulative housing, a shielding shell (4) attached to the insulative housing to form a cavity (11), a tray (3) insertable in the cavity; and an EPM (5) affixed in the insulative housing. The tray is attracted by the EPM under a first current in one direction during tray-insertion and released by the EPM under a second current in opposite direction during tray-ejection.
