  • Publication number: 20120223895
Abstract: A single-finger and multi-touch gesture determination method is disclosed. The single touch and multi-touch gesture determination method includes steps of: for each of one or more touch points, judging a respective category under a first group to which the touch point belongs, according to an initial position of the touch point; for each of the one or more touch points, judging a respective category under a second group to which the touch point belongs, according to a moving pattern of the touch point, wherein the moving pattern is respectively defined in the judged category under the first group to which the touch point belongs; and determining a gesture represented by the one or more touch points according to the judged categories under the second group respectively to which the one or more touch points belong.

  • Publication number: 20120188175
Abstract: A single finger gesture determination method is disclosed. The single touch gesture determination method includes steps of detecting one or more trigger signals, determining respective categories under a plurality of gesture groups to which the one or more trigger signals belong according to the one or more trigger signals, and deciding a finger gesture represented by the one or more trigger signals according to the determined respective categories under the plurality of gesture groups.

  • Publication number: 20110234522
Abstract: A touch sensing system including a touch interface and a control unit is provided. The touch interface senses at least one edge change of at least one region on the touch interface corresponding to at least one object. The control unit defines a touch gesture corresponding to the object according to the edge change so as to perform a touch operation corresponding to the touch gesture. Additionally, a touch sensing method is also provided. In the touch sensing method, whether the touch gesture is a moving gesture, a rotation gesture, a flip gesture, a zoom-in gesture, or a zoom-out gesture is determined according to any change of a touch region.

  • Publication number: 20110199323
Abstract: A touch sensing system includes a touch interface and a control unit. The touch interface senses at least one area change generated on the touch interface by at least one object. The control unit defines a touch gesture corresponding to the at least one object according to the at least one area change, so as to perform a touch operation according to the touch gesture. On the other hand, a touch sensing method is also provided. For users, the touch sensing method in the invention employs a pseudo three-dimensional touch sensing technology, such that applications of the touch sensing technology become more diverse.

  • Publication number: 20110193807
Abstract: A touch detection method is utilized for detecting touch events in a flat panel display. The flat panel display includes a plurality of source lines and a plurality of gate lines perpendicular to the plurality of source lines. The touch detection method includes sequentially detecting waveforms of the plurality of source lines when receiving a plurality of source driving signals, and when a gate line of the plurality of gate lines receives a gate driving signal, to generate a plurality of detection results, and determining a status of a touch event according to the plurality of detection results and position of the gate line relative to the plurality of gate lines.

  • Publication number: 20100207963
Abstract: A gamma voltage generator including an operation amplifier, a first reference impedance unit, a second reference impedance unit, a first variable impedance unit, a second variable impedance unit, and a select unit is provided. The operation amplifier generates an amplified output voltage. The first reference impedance unit receives a first gamma voltage, and the second reference impedance unit receives a second gamma voltage. The first variable impedance unit provides a first variable impedance, and the second variable impedance unit receives the first gamma voltage and provides a second variable impedance. The select unit selects the amplified output voltage or the first gamma voltage according to a control signal to generate an interpolated gamma output voltage.
