    Abstract: An electrochromic device includes upper and lower substrate units, and an electrochromic laminate sandwiched between an upper electrode of the upper substrate unit and a lower electrode of the lower substrate unit. The electrochromic laminate includes an ion storage layer formed on the upper electrode, an active layer formed on the lower electrode, and a polymer electrolyte sandwiched between inner surfaces of the ion storage layer and the active layer. At least one of the inner surfaces has a roughened peripheral region such that an adhesion force generated between the roughened peripheral region and the polymer electrolyte is effective to minimize thermal shrinkage of the polymer electrolyte.

    Abstract: A test strip includes a substrate, a spacer layer having a notch, a reagent layer, a support layer, and a cover layer having a covering portion covering the notch and a channel portion extending rearward from the covering portion corresponding to a rear end of the notch. The substrate is attached under the spacer layer and has a reaction region exposed from the notch. The support layer is located at two sides of the notch and connected to the cover layer and the spacer layer to make the channel portion away from the spacer layer at a vertical distance. The support layer, the covering portion, the notch, and the substrate form a reaction chamber for allowing an analyte solution to react with the reagent layer coated on the reaction region, and the support layer, the channel portion, and the spacer layer forms a channel for exhausting air.

A reference voltage may be generated utilizing the first voltage source. A replica reference voltage for the switched capacitor compensation circuit may be generated utilizing a second voltage source. The replica reference voltage may be equal to the reference voltage. The replica reference voltage may be equal to a supply voltage, VDD, for circuitry in the electronics device. Capacitors may couple outputs of the first and second voltage sources to ground.
