An etch stop layer is applied over the silicide junction, and the oxide window is then etched to form a thin film. A nitride layer is then applied. The resulting photodiode has increased transmission of blue light.

    Abstract: A wind-resistant foldable umbrella includes a main shaft; a runner mounted around the main shaft and sliding between an opening position and a folding position; a first canopy and a second canopy with a central portion thereof fixed to the runner and the top end of the main shaft, respectively; a plurality of the umbrella ribs and a plurality of the pulling elements peripherally disposed around the main shaft and between the first canopy and the second canopy. Two ends of the pulling elements are connected to the corresponding umbrella rib and the runner, respectively. When the runner is at the opening position, the umbrella ribs expand toward the bottom end of the main shaft, so the first and the second canopy expand. Moreover, the umbrella ribs are pulled toward the main shaft by the resilient force from each pulling element.

    Abstract: An inversely foldable automatic umbrella includes a main shaft; an operating sleeve and a connecting sleeve mounted around the main shaft; a compression spring with two ends thereof contacting the connecting sleeve and the operating sleeve, respectively; a first canopy with a central portion thereof fixed to the operating sleeve; a second canopy with a central portion thereof fixed to the top end; a skeleton disposed between the first canopy and the second canopy; and a pull-moving mechanism having a sliding unit and a connecting unit. The sliding unit is slidingly disposed on the skeleton. Two ends of the connecting unit are pivotally disposed on the sliding unit and the operating sleeve, respectively. When the operating sleeve is at a folding position to fold up the first canopy and the second canopy, the skeleton is allowed to completely adhere to the main shaft.
