  • Publication number: 20130105839
Abstract: A formulation incorporates nanoparticles, particularly quantum dot (QD) nanoparticles, into an optically clear medium (resin) to be used as a phosphor material in lighting and display applications, and as a down converting phosphor material in LEDs (light emitting diodes). The resin is compatible with QDs to allow high performance and stability of QD-based LEDs, lighting and display applications.

  • Patent number: 6808866
Abstract: A process for massively producing tape type flexible printed circuits is provided. The steps of pressing, etching and insulating are executed on a flexible insulation tape in reel-to-reel fashion. Thereafter, the flexible insulation tape is punched to form sprocket holes and cut along the parallel lines where the sprocket holes arrange on to become several winds of narrower flexible circuit tapes. Each flexible circuit tape has tape type flexible printed circuits and sprocket holes at two sides.

  • Patent number: 6491812
Abstract: An ice water cooling system for a multi-story building includes an open chemical tank 304 adjacent the bottom of the building 300. The tank includes a float-level ball 310 positioned therein for controlling the flow volume of water from the pipeline circular system 302. A pump 314 and check valve 312 are positioned downstream of the tank and are configured to prevent reflux from the pipeline circular system. The float-level ball, pump and check valve act to isolate the pressure in the pipeline circular system from that of the open-chemical tank which is at atmospheric pressure.

  • Publication number: 20020053538
Abstract: An ice water cooling system comprises a pipeline circular system, an open chemical tank, a circulative pump and an ice water cooling system. The open chemical tank comprises a float-level ball, a check valve and a pump. The pump is located beside the check valve, and the float-level ball guides the liquid to flow from the pipeline circular system into the open chemical tank. The float-level ball separates the liquid pressure away from the pipeline circular system and prevents the liquid reflux back to the pipeline circular system. The balance between the float-level ball and the check valve can keep the liquid level constant.

  • Patent number: 6213908
Abstract: A gear type automated torque converter used to provide a continuously variable minimum torque required in a transmission system subject to the changing of the loading is provided. The gear type automated torque converter includes a torque changing main unit formed of a drive gear set to receive an input power, the drive gear set including a differential gear system, a left gear at the left side, and a right gear at the right side; and a feedback gear mechanism formed of a plurality of feedback gear sets arranged in pair in force couples, the feedback gear sets each including a differential gear system, a left gear at the left side, and a right gear at the right side, the output rotational speed of the feedback gear mechanism and the input rotational speed of the torque changing main unit are equal, enabling the power at the feedback gear mechanism be fed back to the torque main unit through a converter.
