  • Publication number: 20180182084
Abstract: A gas leakage detection method is provided. The method includes the followings steps. Receive an infrared video. Capture a first image and a second image from the infrared video, wherein the first image and the second image are consecutive image frames in order. Calculate a difference between the first image and the second image to generate a first difference image. Filter the first difference image with a filtering criterion to generate a first filtered image. Transform the first filtered image with a transfer function to generate a first detail image, wherein the absolute value of pixel value in the first detail image is greater than or equal to the absolute value of corresponding pixel value in the first filtered image. Superimpose the first detail image and the first image to generate a gas leakage enhanced image.

  • Publication number: 20180127286
Abstract: An aeration control system and method for wastewater are provided. The aeration system, which is connected to an aeration device in an aeration basin, includes a plurality of water quality detectors, at least one pollutant estimate model, and a processing unit. The plurality of water quality detectors are configured to acquire a plurality of water quality data. The plurality of water quality data includes a pre-aeration water quality data and a post-aeration water quality data. The pollutant estimate model is configured to generate a pollutant data according to the pre-aeration water quality data. The processing unit is configured to generate an aeration quantity according to the pollutant data, the post-aeration water quality, and an effluent water quality setting, and transmitting the aeration quantity to the aeration device.

  • Publication number: 20150086385
Abstract: A method for controlling pumping of a plurality of pump units in a wet well is disclosed. The method uses a genetic algorithm to determine which of the pump units is to be started and its initial operating frequency when the liquid level in the wet well reaches a first predetermined level for pumping. During the pumping process, the pumping control method monitors the liquid level in the wet well in real time to obtain real-time state information and fine-adjusts the initial operating frequency of the pump unit to be started according to the real-time state information. Therefore, the present disclosure achieves optimum efficiency and energy saving.

  • Patent number: 8311345
Abstract: A method and system for detecting flames are provided. The flame detection method based on image processing techniques performs the following steps to detecting flames. It first finds one or more bright objects in the images that are captured from videos. A flickering state of a bright object is then determined. To verify the existence of a flame, additionally subsequent images from the instant that a bright object first appears are utilized and the similar steps are applied to them. Finally a flame could be detected if the analyzed results are positive after the aforementioned steps have been performed.

  • Patent number: 7868772
Abstract: A flame detecting method and device are provided to improve the accuracy of flame detection and reduce the possibilities of the false fire alarm. The flame detecting method and device capture a plurality of images of a monitored area; determines whether a moving area image exists in the plurality of images; analyzes at least one of a color model and a flickering frequency of the moving area image to generate a first analyzed result and compares the first analyzed result with a feature of a reference flame image; analyzes at least one of a variation of a location and an area of the moving area image to generate a second analyzed result and compares the second analyzed result with a predetermined threshold; and determines whether the moving area image is a flame image based on results of the comparing steps.
