  • Publication number: 20250090208
Abstract: An apparatus includes a first body, a position sensor, and a screw. The first body defines a bore having a first length. The position sensor is fixed relative to the first body. The position sensor is configured to generate a signal indicating a real-time position of the position sensor within three-dimensional space. The screw is sized to fit in the bore and secure the first body to bone of a patient. The screw has a second length. The first length is greater than the second length.

  • Patent number: 11892038
Abstract: A clutch system includes a rotary input member, a wrap spring clutch and a rotary output member. The wrap spring clutch has a first end, a second end, and a plurality of coils. The stiffness of the wrap spring clutch is selected such that, when transmitting less than a selected coil engagement torque, the clutch system transmits torque helically from the rotary input member, to the second end, helically through the wrap spring clutch to the first end, and into the rotary output member. When transmitting more than the selected coil engagement torque, the clutch system transmits torque in parallel from the rotary input member, to the second end, helically through the wrap spring clutch to the first end, and into the rotary output member, and from the rotary input member through the coil engagement surface, to the first end, and into the rotary output member.

  • Patent number: 10767724
Abstract: An isolator for isolating a device driven by an engine via an endless drive member is described. The isolator comprises a shaft adapter that is connectable with a shaft of the device, defining a shaft adapter axis, a rotary drive member that is rotatable relative to the shaft adapter and has an endless drive member engagement surface that is engageable with the endless drive member, and an isolation spring arrangement positioned to transfer torque between the shaft adapter and the rotary drive member. The isolation spring arrangement has at least one isolation spring that is axially offset from the endless drive member engagement surface. The at least one isolation spring has an outer edge that is radially outside the endless drive member engagement surface.

  • Patent number: 9869365
Abstract: In an aspect, an isolator is provided for isolating a device driven by an engine via an endless drive member. The isolator includes a shaft adapter that is connectable with a shaft of the device, a rotary drive member that is engageable with the endless drive member, a first isolation spring arrangement that is positioned to transfer torque between the shaft adapter and the rotary drive member, and a position-based damping structure. The damping structure is positioned to transfer torque via a frictional damping force between the rotary drive member and the shaft adapter at a selected amount of relative movement therebetween. The selected amount of relative movement is selected to be less than a maximum permitted amount of flexure of the first isolation spring arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20170363183
Abstract: In an aspect, an assembly is provided and includes a pulley device and a drive shaft. The pulley device includes a pulley and has a shaft adapter. A selected amount of combined resistance in the first and second connections to relative rotation in the second direction is generated by a threaded first connection and a second connection between the shaft adapter and the shaft at least some of which is provided by a compression force between them.

  • Publication number: 20140351117
Abstract: The present invention seeks to provide methods and systems for the online exchange of business services between merchants, wherein credit is approved and used to establish virtual value recognition documents such as gift cards or coupons and acquire gift cards or coupons of other merchants. The website owner can generate revenue by retaining a percentage of the gift cards or coupons and reselling them to non-merchant users at a discount to the gift card face value.
