The path computation result includes a network path between the two gateway devices and a reserved network resource. The first gateway device extends the RoCEv2 packet based on the path computation result. An extended RoCEv2 packet carries a first identifier and a second identifier representing RDMA data. The network controller performs bandwidth assurance based on the second identifier and a QoS policy. An extended RoCEv2 packet is forwarded on the network path.
