  • Patent number: 12231230
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards scheduling, by a distributed unit, the injection of custom traffic (signals/data) into a radio unit communications path. The distributed unit coordinates with the radio unit to schedule and synchronize such custom traffic in unscheduled (physical resource block), such as interleaved with to live-air and non-live-air traffic. The radio unit can request the unscheduled physical resource blocks for custom traffic to be inserted by the radio unit. Alternatively, the distributed unit can inject the custom traffic in otherwise unscheduled physical resource blocks for sending to the radio unit. The custom traffic is configured to perform some action by the radio unit, such as to perform antenna calibration, to perform test and measurement operations to obtain performance data, and the like. Performance data can be used, for example, to modify operating parameters of the radio unit to improve performance of the radio unit.

The distributed unit coordinates with the radio unit to schedule and synchronize such custom traffic in unscheduled (physical resource block), such as interleaved with to live-air and non-live-air traffic. Further, the distributed unit, which has scheduling knowledge of upcoming traffic of the radio unit, can communicate such knowledge to the radio unit for the radio unit to change its operating state based on the upcoming traffic knowledge.

  • Publication number: 20230336590
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a railway video resource interconnection and convergence system and a convergence method. The system includes: a security device and a railway video sharing cloud platform. The security device is configured to map, under the condition that a first resource network is physically isolated from other resource networks, an internet protocol address of the first resource network of video resources to an internet protocol address of a shared network; and the railway video sharing cloud platform is configured to acquire a stream of the video resources, and convert the stream of the video resources into a stream of a preset standard format. The present disclosure solves the problem of secure and effective integration of video resources of a professional video monitoring system in a railway and a comprehensive video monitoring system.

  • Patent number: 11297601
Abstract: A resource allocation method for network slicing and an orchestrator, comprising: uniformly incorporating resources originally bundled statically with the base station into a dynamic resource pool; allocating, by an orchestrator, resources from among the dynamic resource pool for the network slicing based on different network slicing requirements. A static corresponding/mapping relationship between the hardware/radio resources and the base station is broken, such that hardware/radio resources (e.g., radio access network Virtual Network Function (RAN VNF), baseband unit (BBU), RRH (Remote Radio Head) as well as antenna) that originally corresponded to different base stations will be organized as an integrated and dynamic hardware/radio resource pool and reported to the orchestrator, such that the orchestrator will centrally manage all hardware/radio resources in this pool and then sufficiently utilize and dynamically orchestrate these hardware/radio resources based different needs from the network slicing.
