Abstract: An effective, accurate and reliable spectroscopic method for detecting differences in composition of chemical samples as compared to corresponding standards is described. The method is based on a set match scores covering a plurality of spectral regions. The method allows a user to determine if a sample matches its corresponding standard by evaluating if the match scores are comparable to previously measured standard values.
