Patent number: 11952368Abstract: Provided are a fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) dimer compound, an FAPI dimer-based positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agent for tumor diagnosis, and a preparation method and use thereof. An amphiphilic polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain and a dimerized structure of FAPI in the FAPI dimer compound with a structure shown in formula I can improve the in vivo kinetic properties of the compound and prolong a residence time of the compound in a tumor, thereby improving the uptake and imaging effects in the tumor. The accurate tumor diagnosis can be achieved by labeling the FAPI dimer compound with a diagnostic nuclide (68Ga), which has promising application prospects in PET imaging for diagnosis and in the preparation of a therapeutic nuclide (such as 177Lu or 90Y)-labeled drug for treating a FAP-?-expressing tumor.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Xiamen UniversityInventors: Haojun Chen, Liang Zhao, Qin Lin, Kaili Fu, Yizhen Pang, Zhide Guo, Jianyang Fang, Long Sun, Hua Wu

Publication number: 20200061321Abstract: An exemplary suction catheter adaptor includes an adaptor body having a passageway between a proximal end and a distal end of the adaptor body. The proximal end of the adaptor body receives an instrument and, when coupled with an airway adaptor having a valve within a passageway between a proximal end and a distal end of the airway adaptor, the distal end of the adaptor body deflects the valve to permit the instrument to be advanced or retracted through the valve. A seal within the passageway of the adaptor body is biased to engage the valve during advancement of an instrument toward the valve, and the seal is disengaged when the instrument is retracted away from the valve. The valve, when not engaged, occludes the passageway between a proximal end and a distal end of the airway adaptor.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 1, 2019Publication date: February 27, 2020Inventors: Dennis WHITE, Haojun Fu

Patent number: 9176152Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and apparatuses for the detection of positional freedom of particles used in biological, biochemical, physical, biophysical, and chemical analyses. In particular, the present invention relates to methods and apparatuses which can detect and characterize a population of particles/cells based upon their detected mobility. In one embodiment consistent with the invention, detection of certain cells is based on differences detected in populations of cells that bind to a substrate and those that exhibit weaker binding forces. Initially, cells are settled on the substrate, and in the presence of gravitational, natural thermodynamic pressure fluctuations, and other random or applied forces, some of the particles may exhibit translational movement. Particle movement is detected, and measurements are computed, according to the methods and apparatuses of the present invention, to determine the binding of specific analytes.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2011Date of Patent: November 3, 2015Assignee: Arryx, INCInventors: Christopher Knutson, Osman Akcakir, Haojun Fu

Publication number: 20120202225Abstract: Methods and devices for evaluating a sample from a subject for detecting a target red blood cell protein or antibody are disclosed. In one embodiment, optimized antibody screening methods and devices significantly reduce the level of non-specific binding to a surface (e.g., a test surface bound with a red blood cell preparation), thus allowing for more efficient detection and reduced test time. In other embodiments, the invention provides methods and devices for target capturing that include a substantially planar surface, optionally having an optimized angle, for capture. Alternative solid phase geometries for capture are disclosed. Optimized methods for cell deposition are also disclosed. Thus, optimized methods, devices, kits, assays for evaluating a sample are disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2012Publication date: August 9, 2012Applicant: ARRYX, INC.Inventors: Christopher R.
