    Abstract: Technologies directed to providing multimedia service over an extended range Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) (e.g., IEEE 802.11ah) are described. In one method, a first wireless device identifies a first portion of media data as having a first priority value and a second portion of the media data as having a second priority value that is less than the first priority value. The first wireless device modulates the first portion to obtain first modulated data using a first modulation and coding scheme (MCS) that has symbol repetition and modulates the second portion to obtain second modulated data using a second MCS in which there is no symbol repetition. The first wireless device sends the first modulated data to a second wireless device in the wireless network and sends the second modulated data to the second wireless device after sending the first modulated data.

One method includes establishing a first wireless connection between a first wireless device and a second wireless device on a first channel. The first wireless device sends to the second wireless device a first indication that the first wireless device is to operate in an off-channel mode with a third wireless device at a first location a Fine Timing Measurement (FTM) procedure. The first wireless device performs a first FTM process between the first wireless device and the third wireless device. The first device determines first timing data including a signal round trip time (RRT) associated with the first FTM process and determines a first distance between the first wireless device and the third wireless device based on the first timing data. A second location of the first wireless device is determined using the first distance.

    Abstract: A method comprising: In some implementations, a method for indexing a multi-layer blockchain system, comprising: A. using, a top layer blockchain, to index a lower layer blockchain by recording a seed node in a transaction log of a block; B. requesting a distributed monitoring cluster to periodically check availabilities of IP addresses and ports that listed in the seed node stored in the top layer blockchain; C. maintaining, for each node in the lower layer blockchain, a separate instance of a global routing table. Each global routing table store entire topological structure of the multi-layer blockchain system, and final consistency of the global routing tables is maintained through a GOSSIP-based data communication protocol. Any node located on the lower layer blockchain described in Step C is configured to access data and services through any one of accessible nodes identified by IP addresses and ports recorded in the global routing table.
