  • Patent number: 12164104
Abstract: A method for designing a multi-layer optical structure includes: obtaining candidate multi-layer optical structures through a sequence generator; obtaining a candidate spectrum for each candidate multi-layer optical structure; obtaining a difference between the candidate spectrum and a target spectrum; updating sequence generator parameters through reinforcement learning training and iteratively performing the obtainings and the updating in response to a first termination condition being not met; and selecting one of all obtained candidate structures to be a target multi-layer optical structure in response to the first termination condition being met. The difference between a spectrum of the target multi-layer optical structure and the target spectrum is minimized through the process. The method of the present application can perform the designs robustly and effectively.

  • Publication number: 20240337007
Abstract: A material having a chrome-like appearance includes a substrate and a multilayer stack with at least three material layers, each is independently selected from the group consisting of: germanium (Ge), titanium oxide (TiO2), silicon dioxide (SiO2), titanium (Ti), nickel (Ni), aluminum (Al), aluminum oxide (Al2O3), silver (Ag), gold (Au), magnesium fluoride (MgF2), magnesium oxide (MgO), silicon (Si), silicon oxide (SiO2), silicon carbide (SiC), tungsten (W), hafnium oxide (HfO2), zinc (Zn), zinc oxide (ZnO), zinc sulfide (ZnS), zinc selenide (ZnSe), chalcogenides, iron oxide (Fe2O3) and combinations thereof. The material is free of chromium (Cr) and displays a specular reflectivity such that ? about 70% of wavelengths in a visible light range of 390 to 750 nm are reflected without scattering. In certain variations, a radiofrequency (RF)-transparent material having a chrome-like appearance is free of any metals. Methods of making the materials having the chrome-like appearance are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20140310034
Abstract: Described herein is a technology for facilitating analysis of performance indicators. In accordance with one aspect, a hierarchical structure with a node representing a performance indicator is configured. Such configuration may include mapping one or more lowest level nodes to one or more data models for retrieving transactional data. In addition, one or more internal nodes of the hierarchical structure may be configured, including mapping the one or more internal nodes to one or more corresponding child nodes. The configuration data generated by such configuration may then be stored in a database for subsequent retrieval to generate a report.
