  • Patent number: 10940745
Abstract: The invention comprises a sealing and cover strip (8) for the B-pillar (7) of a passenger vehicle (1) comprising a support cover (10) and a decorative cover (9), each of which has a sealing half of a sealing profile for a lowerable side window on at least one of their common longitudinal sides. The present invention improves a sealing and cover strip (8) in such a way that the assembly effort during production of the vehicle is reduced and the optical appearance is improved. This follows from the fact that each sealing profile (11, 12) comprises two sealing halves (13, 14 and 13?, 14?), respective halves (13, 13?) being integral with the decorative cover (9), and respective halves (14, 14?) being integral with the support cover (10).

  • Publication number: 20190070943
Abstract: The invention refers to a window surround for a window of a passenger vehicle (1), with at least one seal which comprises one or more sealing profiles (10, 10?, 10?) and with a plastic support profile (8, 12) interacting with the seal and a decorative cover (9, 13) covering the support profile and having a metallic visible surface (11). The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a window surround of the type mentioned above, which is easier to produce while retaining the aforementioned advantages, and therefore the decorative cover (9, 13) is also designed as an injection-molded plastic part, wherein the visible surface (11) of the decorative cover is galvanized.

  • Patent number: 6605444
Abstract: A method is disclosed for obtaining and/or immunologically detecting an analyte contained in a gas phase by immunologically binding the analyte to a binding partner thereof contained in a gas- and liquid-permeable first carrier matrix. Said method is characterized in that a) the analyte-containing gas phase is brought into contact with the first carrier matrix (immune adsorber), b) the analyte is bound to the first binding partner which is contained in the first matrix and not bound to the matrix, and c) the complex of analyte and first binding partner and the free first binding partner are eluted from the first matrix, d) the eluted complex or the free first binding partner is determined as a measure for the amount of analyte present.

  • Patent number: 6197097
Abstract: A filter for cleaning air by removing noxious and/or odorous matter from the air flow by desorption is constructed so that filter sections (12) can be sequentially heated for a desorption of the noxious and odorous matter. An air discharge (13) for desorption air is provided on the air exit side (11) of the filter (2) for the discharge of the desorbed noxious and odorous matter, preferably into the combustion air of an engine. The air discharge (13, 22) for the desorption air covers at least one filter section 12 at a time when that section is being heated. A relative motion between the filter sections (12) and the air discharge (13) assures that other filter sections keep filtering while at least one filter section at a time is regenerated.

  • Patent number: 6022399
Abstract: A process for regenerating an adsorber which adsorbs organic substances from the air in which the adsorber is heated by microwave energy to evaporate adsorbed organic substances on the adsorber. The adsorber is provided with enhanced microwave absorption capacity to enable the adsorber to evaporate the adsorbed organic substances. The adsorber can be produced to have itself high microwave energy absorbing capacity or a solid material can be combined with the adsorber to provide the high microwave absorbing capacity. The solid material can be combined with an adsorbing enhancing substance and can be a carrier therefor. In a particular embodiment, the adsorber can be a hydrophobic zeolite and the microwave absorbing material can be a hydrophilic zeolite.
