  • Patent number: 6831376
Abstract: A method and apparatus for unlocking a trunk lid of a motor vehicle is suggested which ensures that a person in the interior of the trunk can free himself from this trunk. For this purpose, an unlocking handle is provided in the interior which, when it is operated and the vehicle is standing still, unlocks the trunk lid. If, when the unlocking handle is operated, the vehicle is driving, a delay time is started after whose expiration the trunk lid is released.

  • Patent number: 5434476
Abstract: Circuitry is disclosed for operating with no stroboscopic effects at least three fluorescent lamps connected to a single source of single phase alternating voltage. In order to suppress the stroboscopic effects, the first lamp circuit (1) is connected in the usual way to both conductors (S;Mp) of the source of single phase alternating voltage; a series oscillating circuit (4) composed of an inductive resistor (L) and a capacitor(C) is arranged in parallel to the first lamp circuit; the second lamp circuit (2) is connected between a conductor (S) of the source of single phase alternating voltage the point of connection (Vp) between the inductive resistor (L) and the capacitor of the series oscillating circuit (4); and the third lamp circuit (3) is connected between said point of connection (Vp) and the other conductor (Mp) of the source of single phase voltage.

  • Patent number: 4035580
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for transmitting synchronously and asynchronously occurring data is described. The synchronous data are transmitted using a plesiochronous, synchronous data transmission system. Additionally, at the send side, a submultiplexer receives asynchronous data and transmits that data synchronously with the send-side clock signal to the send-side multiplexer. The aforementioned transmitted data are received at a receive-side multiplexer and coupled to a receive-side submultiplexer for transmission to receive-side subscribers. Both submultiplexers operate in accordance with identical clock signals.
