  • Patent number: 10454333
Abstract: An actuator includes a metal housing that consists of multiple housing parts, an electric motor, an actuating member, a transmission mechanism that adapts the movement of the electric motor to the actuating member and an electronic system for controlling the electric motor. A heat sink is situated in a housing part consisting of plastic, said heat sink being connected to a metal housing part.

  • Patent number: 5585924
Abstract: A device for producing an electric signal which corresponds to the position of an object which is movable in translation or rotation relative to a base, wherein by optical scanning of markings which periodically recur upon a movement of the object, analog voltage signals A, A and B, B are produced by means of sensors which are spaced apart from each other by one-quarter of the scanning period. The signals are converted in an evaluation circuit with comparators into digital forms of the signals A and B (quadrature signal). In order to produce a test signal S, there is also provided in the device a summation circuit by means of which the voltage signals A, A and B, B are added and compared in a comparator with a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 5560335
Abstract: In order to control the air throughput through the intake pipe of an internal combustion engine, the power of which is controlled by displacement of a throttle valve, there is provided in the intake pipe in known manner a dome-shaped contour which follows the throttle valve over a part of the adjustment angle. Also, the cable pulley has a circular shape in a useful region of operation, but the pulley is fastened eccentrically on the throttle valve. In this way, there is obtained a sensitive displacement by electric motor of the throttle valve in the idling range on the one hand, and a very direct response of the throttle valve to a movement of the gas pedal on the other hand.
