  • Publication number: 20100206473
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a flooring product with integrated circuitry, comprising the steps of providing a plurality of pieces (6), stacking said pieces on top of each other, displaced in relation to each other to form an offset stack (10), and compressing said offset stack to form said flooring product. The method further comprises arranging flexible circuitry (7) on an upper surface of at least one piece, so that, when said pieces are stacked, a first portion (7a) of flexible circuitry on the at least one piece is exposed, said first portion (7a) including circuitry for interacting with the environment. By arranging the circuitry in the flooring during such a manufacturing process, a flooring product is achieved where only a portion of the circuitry is exposed, and another portion is embedded in the flooring.

  • Publication number: 20100164399
Abstract: A switched light element array includes first, second and third light emitting elements, and first and second switches. The first light emitting element includes first and second terminals, and the second light emitting element includes a first terminal, and a second terminal coupled to the second terminal of the first light emitting element. The third light emitting element includes a first terminal coupled to the first terminal of the first light emitting element and a second terminal. The first switch includes a first terminal coupled to each of the first terminals of the first and third light emitting elements and a second terminal coupled to the first terminal of the second light emitting element. The second switch includes a first terminal coupled to the second terminal of the third light emitting element, and a second terminal coupled to each of the second terminals of the first and second light emitting elements.

  • Publication number: 20100072902
Abstract: A light element array (100) including first (LEE1), second (LEE2) and third light emitting elements (LEE3), and first (140) and second (150) current sources. The first light emitting is characterized by a first operating voltage VOpi at or above which it is substantially operable to emit light. The second light emitting element includes a first terminal (120a), and a second terminal (120b) coupled to the second terminal of the first light emitting element, the second light emitting element characterized by a second operating voltage Vop2. The third light emitting element includes a first terminal (130a) coupled to the first terminal (110a) of the first light emitting element, and a second terminal (130b), the third light emitting element characterized by a third operating voltage Vo?3.
