  • Publication number: 20180241237
Abstract: Embodiments of a mobile electric storage device are provided. The mobile electric storage device includes a housing, a battery, an inverter electrically connected to the battery, a power outlet electrically connected to the inverter, a charge controller connected to the battery, and a power inlet which is connected to the charge controller. The battery, inverter, power outlet, and charge controller are all arranged in the housing. A cost-effective circuit system can be provided in that the power inlet and the charge controller are configured for higher electrical outputs than the inverter and the power outlet.

  • Publication number: 20130079903
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for building automation, made up of a portable or handheld apparatus for situation-related information configuration and of at least one stationary unit, in which system the apparatus comprises a proximity sensor, a communication unit for wireless communication with at least one of the stationary units, an evaluation and control unit having at least one processor or logic unit and a memory, an information output unit, and an energy reservoir, the system being designed to create a wireless communication connection between the apparatus and at least one of the stationary units via the communication unit as a consequence of an approach by the apparatus, as ascertained by the proximity sensor, to at least one stationary unit, and to display a state of the at least one stationary unit via the information output unit.

  • Patent number: 6873061
Abstract: In a transponder key for an electronic drive-away blocking device function, which may have at least a first status in the form of the deactivation of the drive-away blocking device and a second status in the form of an activation of the drive-away blocking device, a first memory area is provided in which status information can be stored, indicating the most recently implemented status. Preferably, a second memory area is also provided in the transponder key in which a cycle counter information can be stored, indicating the reading of a counter that is incremented whenever a transition takes place from the second status to the first status.

  • Patent number: 6768413
Abstract: A closing device for a vehicle door lock is actuated by a hand lever. The lock can be switched between a secured, inoperative position of the hand lever and an operative position in which the lock can be opened by the hand lever. An electric control device arranged within the vehicle effects via an antenna of a vehicle-correlated transmission and reception unit a data request directed to a data carrier external to the vehicle held by a vehicle user. The data carrier has a transmission and reception unit transmitting a data reply via the antenna of the vehicle-correlated transmission and reception unit to the control device which, for a positive identification of the data carrier, triggers securing, respectively, release of the lock. The antenna of the transmission and reception unit is arranged in the hand lever in addition to at least some further components of the transmission and reception unit.

  • Patent number: 6236121
Abstract: A device with a key-actuated closing cylinder and a switch triggers, when a key is turned therein, a particular electric function in a motor vehicle. In order to achieve a particularly compact and reliable device, at least two sensors are arranged inside the cylinder housing of the closing cylinder in zones that are mutually offset in the longitudinal direction. The sensor outputs are connected to a common evaluation device. The cylinder core has in corresponding axial zones several permanent magnets at particular points of its periphery. These points are selected so that the evaluation device detects different codes at the sensor outputs in the different working positions of the cylinder core and clearly identifies with these codes the corresponding working positions. The evaluation device thus acts as an electronic switch which on the basis of the sensed code triggers the electric function that corresponds to the momentary working position.

  • Patent number: 6201317
Abstract: A device with a key-operated lock cylinder acts on a switching device as a function of the turning of a key. In addition to the key channel for holding the associated key and the tumblers, the cylinder core has a permanent magnet on its periphery. Similarly, in addition to a locking channel for the tumblers, the cylinder housing has at least one sensor which, when the cylinder core is actuated by the key, responds to the permanent magnet and activates the switching device via an evaluator. In order to secure the device against theft as a result of an unauthorized person replacing the cylinder core in the lock cylinder, an entire group of different cylinder cores is associated with the cylinder housing. They differ from one another with respect to at least one of their permanent magnets. In the device a given pair of cylinder core and cylinder housing is used as the lock cylinder which then has a given magnet code.
