  • Publication number: 20070137788
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for position control of one or more webs, particularly of paper-like or board-like webs, which are preferably used in manufacturing corrugated board and corrugated board which has a natural edge. For controlling the web position by means of position manipulation apparatuses, position information is used, which is detected downstream by position detection means.

  • Patent number: 6450381
Abstract: A device and method for guiding a transversely stable material web. The device contains at least one roller and one counter roller disposed on opposite sides of the material web. The roller and counter roller can be swiveled synchronously with each other, thereby holding the material web between each other with a clamping grip. This device provides a substantially higher guiding force in relation to the running direction of the web than devices with stationary abutments.

  • Patent number: 6316762
Abstract: The invention relates to an optoelectronic device (1) for detecting objects (2) in a monitoring range, one end of which comprises a transmitter (3) that emits transmitting light rays (8) and two receivers (4, 5) that receive light rays (10) and have respectively one first and second linear polarizing element (14, 15) installed in front, for which the polarization directions are such that they are turned relative to each other by an angle &agr; in the range of 45°<&agr;<135°, while the other end has a reflector unit (9), comprising a reflector (17) with a third linear polarizing element (16) installed in front, for which the polarization direction essentially coincides with the polarization direction of the first or second polarizing element (14, 15).
