A shading element is attached to the pull rod and is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. Teeth are formed in the guide rails.     Abstract: A network access device checks communication data flows coming into a network for specific authorization information. The quality of service class (QOS) with which a flow is retransmitted from the network access device through the network is determined by the result of the check. Each end device that transmits a flow to the network access device can first request authorization for the flow from a gate keeper and resource manager mechanism of the network. The mechanism returns specific authorization information which the end device includes in the flow before the flow is transmitted to the network access device. In one embodiment, only if an incoming flow is determined to have the specific authorization information will the network access device allow the flow to be retransmitted through the network with a particular quality of service (QOS) class.

    Abstract: In order to transmit data packets between a wirelessly connectable communications device and a communications partner, particularly during a handover process, the invention provides that when a first wireless transmission path is available, an availability of at least one additional wireless transmission path is detected. Based on the detection, a specific assignment schema, via which at least one portion of the data packets is assigned to each of the transmission paths, is selected according to specific transmission requirements and/or to a transmission protocol to be used for transmitting the data packets. An address specification specific to the transmission path is then assigned to a respective data packet that is assigned to a transmission path. By using the assigned address specifications, the data packets are transmitted via the different transmission paths between the communications device and the communications partner according to the selected assignment schema.

On a resource request, for a connection to be subsequently generated, the origin and goal thereof are compared with the origin and goal of the previously transmitted data packets by the resource manager. Should there be agreement, the resource manager can deduce that the connection to be established can equally run over the corresponding transmission path. Correspondingly, establishment of further connections occurs, depending upon the available resources of the transmission path.
