  • Patent number: 7645998
Abstract: A detector module includes an array of detector elements and a printed circuit board. On a first side of the circuit board, the array of detector elements is arranged, and on a second side at least one component used for signal processing is arranged. The printed circuit board makes electrical contact with a plug connector having a free space in which the component is held. The detector module is provided for a detector of a computed tomography unit.

  • Publication number: 20090039562
Abstract: A method is proposed for producing an anti-scatter grid or collimator for a radiation type, which is formed from at least one base body of prescribable geometry having transmission channels or slits for primary radiation of the radiation type which extend between two opposite surfaces of the base body. The base body is formed from a structural material that strongly absorbs the radiation type, either using the injection molding technique or by way of the technique of stereolithography. The method can be used to produce an anti-scatter grid or collimator with high accuracy and with the aid of only a few steps.

  • Patent number: 7358501
Abstract: A detector module is disclosed, having an array of detector elements and a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board includes a first region for holding the array of detector elements and includes at least one second region, angled off relative to the first region. On this at least one second region, signal-processing electronics may be arranged. The vertical design of the detector module allows the design of an area detector to be produced on the basis of a multiplicity of detector modules arranged next to one another. The area detector may be provided for a computer tomograph.

  • Publication number: 20060180769
Abstract: An adapter is disclosed for a detector including a plurality of detector modules. A method is further disclosed for carrying out faultfinding on the detector including such an adapter. It is possible for an electrical cross-connection to be produced between at least one first detector module and a second slot on a printed circuit board, and between a second detector module and a first slot of the printed circuit board by use of the adapter. The adapter makes possible simple and rapid faultfinding of a defective component of the detector by way of a first and a second measurement, in which measurements a position of the faulty output signal is determined.
