    Abstract: A machine handling device for handling a sheet-metal workpiece includes a control device that comprises two sensing elements, and a testing station that includes a testing device configured to test functional capability of the control device. The testing station further includes a testing-evaluation device configured to apply a testing voltage between the respective sensing element and the corresponding testing-contact body.     Abstract: A method for recognition and compensation of an offset measure between stamping coordinates of a stamping device and laser coordinates of a laser device in a combined stamping-laser machine for processing a plate-shaped workpiece, particularly a metal sheet, includes introducing a structure into the plate-shaped workpiece by respectively using the stamping device or the laser device. A measurement variable of the introduced structure is determined respectively by the laser device or the stamping device. The measurement variable is compared with an expected variable, and a deviation of the measurement variable from the expected variable corresponds to an offset measure. The offset measure is balanced with the coordinates of the laser device in the laser coordinate system or with the coordinates of the stamping device in the stamping coordinate system in order to compensate for the offset measure between the stamping coordinates and the laser coordinates.

    Abstract: In the method according to the disclosure for the unloading of a workpiece part from a workpiece, in parallel with processing time, by means of an unloading element, e.g. a vacuum sucker, the workpiece part is cut from an especially plate-form workpiece by means of a laser beam. The movement of the laser beam relative to the workpiece at least along a first movement axis (X) is divided into a movement of the workpiece and a movement of the laser beam. Before executing a final cut, which separates the workpiece part from the workpiece, the workpiece is decelerated until standstill and the final cut is then executed for example, by moving the laser beam. The workpiece part is being unloaded by an unloading element that operates at least partially during cutting of the workpiece. The unloading element operates according to one of three operating options.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for cutting out a workpiece section along a target path from a plate-shaped workpiece using a laser beam of a laser cutting machine having a first drive for moving the workpiece along a first drive axis, a second drive for moving a laser cutting head along the first drive axis. Target values of the target path of the laser beam are divided into target values for the first drive and for the second drive. Before the laser beam reaches a cutting-out end position of the workpiece section, the target values for the first drive are set to a constant value, so that after braking of the first drive, the cutting out of the workpiece section is only still executed by moving the laser cutting head and the workpiece comes to a stop at latest at the cutting-out end position.

At least one travelling movement with at least one travel path of at least one of the holding device and the gripper device is activated with at least one movement component in the X-Y plane.
