  • Patent number: 11728086
Abstract: A radiator for cooling a transformer, preferably a power transformer, or a choke, includes a plurality of plate-shaped radiator elements which are disposed parallel to one another and through which a coolant can flow in parallel. At least one elastically deformable element is provided at least between two adjacent radiator elements and is constructed in such a way that it counteracts an expansion of the radiator elements perpendicular to the surface of the radiator elements. Plastic deformation of the walls of the radiator elements can be prevented by the elastically deformable elements. A unit including a transformer or a choke and a method for producing a radiator are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230053836
Abstract: A method identifies asymmetrical vibrations during the operation of an electric device which is connected to a high-voltage grid. Vibrations of the electric device are detected using vibration sensors which provide measured values on the output side. The measured values and/or values derived from the measured values are transmitted to a communication unit via a close-range communication connection. The measured values and/or the values are transmitted by the communication unit to a data processing cloud via a far-range communication connection. The measured values are separated into frequency components by the data processing cloud using a Fourier transformation, thereby obtaining a frequency spectrum. Odd and even frequency components of the frequency spectrum are ascertained based on a base frequency of the high-voltage supply grid and put into a ratio R relative to one another. The presence of asymmetrical vibrations is indicated if the ratio R exceeds a specified threshold.

  • Publication number: 20220294262
Abstract: A method for identifying asymmetrical vibrations during the operation of an electric device which is connected to a high-voltage grid: Operational noise of the electric device is detected using acoustic sensors which output measured values. The measured values and/or values derived therefrom are transmitted to a communication unit via a close-range communication connection and then transmitted to a data processing cloud via a far-range communication connection. The measured values and/or the values derived from the measured values are separated into frequency components by the data processing cloud using a Fourier transformation, thereby obtaining a frequency spectrum. Odd and even frequency components of the frequency spectrum are ascertained on the basis of a base frequency of the high-voltage supply grid and put into a ratio R relative to one another. The presence of asymmetrical vibrations is indicated if the ratio R exceeds a specified threshold.

  • Publication number: 20220236305
Abstract: A method for determining a direct current component in an electric device that is connected to a high-voltage supply network. The method includes the following steps: acquiring operating noises of the electric device with the aid of acoustic sensors that are part of a portable unit and that provide acoustic signals at the output; breaking the acoustic signals down into their frequency components by a Fourier transformation, yielding a frequency spectrum; determining odd and even frequency components of the frequency spectrum in dependence upon a basic frequency of the high-voltage supply network and setting them in a ratio to one another; concluding that a direct current component is present if the ratio exceeds a predefined threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20080128006
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling the operating mode of a cleaner, in particular, a high-pressure cleaner, wherein a pump delivers cleaning fluid via a pressure line to a closable spray nozzle, a signal transducer which provides control signals as a function of the pressure in the pressure line being coupled with the pressure line. To further develop the method so that the cleaner can be reliably controlled in a constructionally simple manner from the spray nozzle, it is proposed, in accordance with the invention, that a first control signal be provided by the signal transducer by closing the spray nozzle, and a second control signal be provided by the signal transducer by subsequently opening the spray nozzle again, and that the operating mode of the cleaner be controlled as a function of the duration of the time interval between the two control signals. A cleaner, in particular, a high-pressure cleaner, for performing the method is also proposed.

  • Publication number: 20080012202
Abstract: The invention relates to a pneumatic feed and separation system (1) for flat substrates (3) such as papers and the like in a stack (5, 5?, 5?), and to a corresponding method. The system has: a rear edge separating apparatus (10) for separation of a top substrate (3) from the stack (5, 5?, 5?) in the area of the rear edge (9) of the stack (5, 5?, 5?) in the transport direction (7), a transport apparatus (20) for the top substrate (3) in the area of the front edge (8) of the stack (5, 5?, 5?) in the transport direction (7), and a control unit (30).

  • Patent number: 4656841
Abstract: A latch needle for knitting machines has a needle latch supported such that t is pivotable in an undamped manner, and the seating surface on the latch spine is formed in wedge shape with converging surfaces. Seating surfaces adapted to the seating surface on the latch spine are provided on the upper edges of the side portions of the longitudinal slot of the needle, and this longitudinal slot is provided, in the region below the latch pivot, with an aperture or slit extending to the lower edge of the needle shank.

  • Patent number: 4294086
Abstract: A latch needle for knitting machines has a hook and needle shank and a latch pivotally mounted in a longitudinal slot in the needle shank with the faces of the needle shank flanking the longitudinal slot having support portions recessed relative to the upper edge of the needle shank for supporting a widened portion of the rear part or spine of the latch. A short portion of the longitudinal slot contains an aperture leading to the lower edge of the needle shank, and a further portion of the longitudinal slot adjacent to the short portion is deeper than half the height of the needle shank and projects in length beyond the end of the latch in its rearward open position displaced away from the hook. The support portions of the shank for the widened portion of the spine of the latch are located over the inner starting region of the further portion of the longitudinal slot.
