  • Publication number: 20060118431
Abstract: So that on ships a manual transport of munitions containers is possible with security in narrow space conditions from a munitions supply to a gun, the munitions container, as a carrying element includes a band which at one end is permanently connected with the munitions container and which at its other end for an adjustment to a variable and useful for transport free band length is detentably insertable into a several detent positions of the munitions container. The band in the transport position forms a loop which allows for transport on backs. In a rest position, for example in the storage position, the band takes on a position of being integrated into the container.

  • Patent number: 6255093
Abstract: DNA molecule comprising a structural gene which codes for a bacterial protein with the enzymatic activity of 3-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase (3-HBDH), a recombinant DNA containing the DNA molecule, microorganisms transformed accordingly, a process for obtaining 3-HBDH by culturing a suitable transformed microorganism as well as a method for the determination of ketone bodies in the presence of the enzyme. A structural gene from Rhodobacter sphaeroides is preferred.

  • Patent number: 5277906
Abstract: The invention is an insecticidal composition which comprises a crystalline toxin, a carrier, and diluent. Further, the invention encompasses a method of controlling insects of the order Diptera utilizing the insecticidal composition. The active ingredient, or crystalline toxin, is obtained by culturing asporous strains of Bacillus thuringiensis serovar israelensis, DSM 3439 and DSM 3440, under specific culture conditions. The crystalline toxin is separated from lysed sporangium and prespore in the culture.

  • Patent number: 4924614
Abstract: The invention discloses a gun barrel with a novel pattern of a rifling curve. The latter proceeds at start of motion from the parabolic curve y=A+Bx+Cx.sup.2 and is supplemented with a constant D, to which is added a freely selectable exponent =d. Due to the freely selected exponent as parameter the ridge force maximum can be displaced at almost equal level between the start of motion and the barrel mouth. At the barrel mouth the ridge force drops to a minimum.

  • Patent number: 4882974
Abstract: A method for increasing the hitting probability of multi-barreled machine weapons, especially for four-gun or gatling-type weapon systems. Through a spreading apart of the middle of hitting point locations of the individual weapon barrels, there can be achieved an improvement in the characteristics of the firing spread. This is attained in that the middle hitting point location of the individual weapon barrels is spread apart in such a manner about the middle hitting point location of all of weapon barrels of a weapon system, that the density of hits remains almost constant at a restrictedly increasing deviation from the middle of the hitting point location of all the weapon barrels. The middle hitting point location of the individual weapon barrels can be spread apart by the amount of the average standard deviation of the diring spread of the individual weapon barrels from the middle hitting point location of all weapon barrels of a weapon system.

  • Patent number: 4872390
Abstract: A front insert barrel bearing is adjustable by means of an adjusting device having two eccentric bushing arranged one within the other, of a front insert barrel bearing, the bushings are rotatable relative to each other, to change the position in which they support the insert gun barrel whereby a desired aiming direction of the insert barrel is made possible and a common mean point of impact with the barrel of the combat tank is achieved.
