  • Patent number: 11893348
Abstract: Computer implemented methods and systems are provided for generating diverse key phrases while maintaining competitive output quality. A system for training a sequence to sequence (S2S) machine learning model is proposed where neural unlikelihood objective approaches are used at (1) a target token level to discourage the generation of repeating tokens, and (2) a copy token level to avoid copying repetitive tokens from the source text. K-step ahead token prediction approaches are also proposed as an additional mechanism to augment the approach to further enhance the overall diversity of key phrase outputs.

  • Patent number: 11848359
Abstract: Methods are provided of selectively obtaining n-type and p-type regions from the same III-Nitride layer deposited on a substrate without using diffusion or ion-implantation techniques. The III-Nitride layer is co-doped simultaneously with n-type and p-type dopants, with p-type dopant concentration higher than n-type dopant to generate p-n junctions. The methods rely on obtaining activated p-type dopants only in selected regions to generate p-type layers, whereas the rest of the regions effectively behave as an n-type layer by having deactivated p-type dopant atoms.

  • Patent number: 11790020
Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for delivery of content based on matching of user profiles with content metadata. The system enables delivery of personalized content, without the overhead of managing segment targeting rules, while providing content publishers or marketers with complete control over such personalization. A recommendation service or application program interface, provided by a computer, cloud computing environment, or other type of computer system, enables receipt and processing of requests, from client devices, for personalized content. A recommendation engine delivers content assets in response to a request from a client device. The recommendation engine determines a content channel and a user identity associated with the request, and then delivers content assets based on rules governing the matching of content asset metadata with the user profile. While content classification evolves over time, so also does the personalization of delivered content.

  • Publication number: 20230320347
Abstract: Mismanagement of infectious wastes such as test samples leads to the transmission of microbes/toxins/viruses and spread of contagious and infectious diseases. Adding a flocculating agent to liquid waste reduces the risk of spills and aerosolization. Provide is a flocculating/gelating agent comprising the sol of a selected nanomaterial with a defined weight composition in water and a poly-amino acid (polyglutamic acid), that is capable of instantaneous flocculation/gelation, thereby disinfecting both liquid as well as solid samples, rendering them non-infectious, with >99.9% microbial disinfection. Segregation, transportation and incineration of such disinfected medical wastes are easier, safer and decrease medical waste disposal costs for a healthcare facility.

  • Publication number: 20230221940
Abstract: Upgrading a network appliance to a second firmware is dynamically specified and implemented to minimize network disruption. The installed firmware runs in a first execution domain and the second firmware runs in safe mode in a second execution domain. Upgrade planning data is produced by monitoring service executables in the second execution domain for stage failures at various execution states. The upgrade planning data is used to produce an upgrade specification for upgrading from the installed firmware to the second firmware. The upgrade planning data can indicate that there are execution state dependencies between the service executables. The upgrade specification can be adapted for the execution state dependencies and used by a finite state machine to implement the upgrade.
