    Abstract: The present invention provides a mediating communication system enabling to integrate mobile service providers such as SMS messaging with prepaid voice systems. It is suggested to use a mediating gateway, which simulates the communication between a signaling transfer point (STP) with a service control point (SCP) by converting MAP protocol messages of service switching point (SSP) into IN protocol messages which can be handled by the SCP.
