    Abstract: Trunks and luggage having retractable wheels connected to a wheeling handle. The motion of each wheel is controlled by a cam slot so that the wheel moves out when the handle is extended but returns to storage position when the handle is retracted. Any required lost motion in extending the handle is provided by either an interlocking wire loop or a curved cam slot.
