  • Publication number: 20220300484
Abstract: Methods for snapshot isolation query transactions in distributed systems are performed by systems and devices. Distributed executions of queries are performed in a processing system according to an isolation level protocol for data management and data versioning across one or more data sets, one or more compute pools, etc., within a logical server via a single transaction manager that oversees the isolation semantics and data versioning. Read transactions of queries are performed lock-free via the isolation semantics, and instant rollbacks, point-in-time queries, single-phase commits in the distributed systems are also provided. Abort and clean up operations are performed based on a distributed abort protocol and a determined oldest active transaction for the system in which the single transaction manager does not track read-only transactions, and client nodes do not maintain commit tables for transactions.

  • Patent number: 11451525
Abstract: An Internet-connected device, such as a car, refrigerator, or even a laptop can use a second device, such as a cell phone, to support cryptographic operations and communication with token service providers or other processing services requiring pre-provisioned capabilities that may include cryptographic secrets. By removing the need to store personally sensitive data in “Internet of Things” (IoT) devices, a user's personal information and other sensitive financial information may be contained to a relatively small number of devices. This may help prevent theft of goods or services by IoT devices that are not always under the close control of the user.

  • Patent number: 11444747
Abstract: The present technology improves synchronization of a slave node with a master node in a network using PTP packets in which the slave node is coupled to the working master node through at least one boundary node. The technology establishes a synchronization communication session between the boundary node and the slave node in which the synchronization communication session is configured to measure a first timing delay from the boundary node to the slave node, and establishes a transparent communication session between the master node and the slave node through the boundary timing node in which the transparent communication session configured to measure a second timing delay from the master node to the slave node. Using the sessions, the technology adjusts a timing delay correction factor according to the first timing delay and the second timing delay, and synchronizes the slave node with the master node according to the correction factor.

  • Publication number: 20220224563
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for establishing an optimized geo-location based hub mesh network for a group of network controllers spanning multiple regions, where the optimized mesh network includes substantially fewer connections between network controllers than conventional hub mesh networks. Geo-location information is obtained for the group of network controllers, and the network controllers are categorized into various physical regions based on the geo-location information. Then, within each region, a particular network controller is selected to serve as a primary regional hub for that region. Tunnel connections are then established between each non-hub network controller in each region and the primary regional hub for that region. In addition, tunnel connections are established between each non-hub network controller in a region and each other non-hub network controller within the same region.

  • Patent number: 11361548
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to multi instance visual tracking based on observer motion modelling. Conventional state-of-the-art methods have major challenges in dealing with the error rate, accuracy of tracking the moving objects when observer motion is also considered. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for multi instance visual tracking considering the motion of observer. The method tracks moving objects in an input video comprising a set of image frames, by detecting the moving objects in each image frame. The method detects the moving objects in each image frame by calculating trifocal tensors and fundamental matrix of the previous frames. The disclosed multi instance visual tracking can be used in remote surveillance problem for tracking moving objects.

  • Patent number: 11336563
Abstract: Examples relates to a method for selecting headend gateway for routing subnets of branch gateways of a geographic region in a software defined wide area network (SD-WAN). In some examples, an analyzer issues a subnet to each branch gateway of a first geographic region from a pool of contiguous IP addresses, selects a first set of headend gateways suited to be assigned to the branch gateways, ranks each of the first set of headend gateways based on a parameter that includes dynamic loading of each headend gateway or link health information between each of the headend gateways and the branch gateways, and forwards the information including the ranking of headend gateways of the first set to a network orchestrator of the SD-WAN to cause the network orchestrator to assign the branch gateways to the highest ranking gateway based on information including the ranking of the first set of headend gateways.

  • Publication number: 20210377039
Abstract: A system for protecting personal information uses a challenge and an encrypted copy of the challenge in the form of a message authentication code (MAC) to provide authentication among multiple parties. The challenge is received by a first party from a second party. The challenge is encrypted by the first party to form the MAC and then both the challenge and the MAC are returned to the second party. The second party authenticates the first party by confirming the challenge. The second party sends the MAC and challenge to the third party. The third party decrypts the MAC using a key shared with the first party. When the decrypted MAC matches the challenge, the first party is authenticated to the third party. The process is applicable to transaction processing to limit compromise of payment instrument details.
