  • Patent number: 11528188
Abstract: A computing device may perform a method that includes graphically presenting a plurality of virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) elements which represent a plurality of stored VRF profiles, with each VRF element presenting profile data from one of the plurality of stored VRF profiles. The method may further include receiving input selecting a VRF element which represents and presents profile data from a selected stored VRF profile and receiving input modifying the profile data presented by the selected VRF element. A VRF profile may be generated, for a networking device of a networking infrastructure, based on the selected stored VRF profile and the input modifying the profile data presented by the selected VRF element. Thereafter, a VRF element may be graphically presented which represents and presents profile data from the generated VRF profile for the networking device.

  • Patent number: 10887204
Abstract: Example techniques of network infrastructure management are described. In an example, a network statistics request is received by a network device from a computing device. The network statistics request indicates at least one of a node and a data path, in a layer of a network stack in a network infrastructure, for which a network statistics attribute is to be determined. The network statistics attribute is representative of information associated with one of data packets transceived by the node and data packets transferred over the data path. The network statistics attribute is determined based on the value of a counter associated with the network statistics attribute of one of the node and the data path. The determined network statistics attribute is provided to the computing device.

  • Patent number: 10868728
Abstract: Example techniques of network infrastructure management are described. In an example, a network statistics request may be received by a network device. The network statistics request indicates a network resource and a network statistics attribute to be determined for the network resource. The network resource is one of a node and a data path in the network infrastructure. The network statistics attribute is indicative of information on flow of data packets at the network resource. A graph is generated based on the network statistics request. The graph depicts vertices corresponding to nodes in a network segment associated with the network resource and edges corresponding to communication links between pairs of adjacent nodes in the network segment. Based on the graph and a network statistics attribute for a pair of adjacent nodes, the network statistics attribute for the network resource, may be determined.

  • Patent number: 10439941
Abstract: Various examples disclosed herein relate to determining switch load values for a switch according to a weighted score for categorized network traffic. In some examples, traffic volume information is determined for a switch in a network. The traffic volume information can include volume of network traffic for the switch for multiple time parameters. The network can include multiple switches. The switches can be associated with loss potential information based on a topology of the switches. The traffic volume information can be categorized into multiple categories. Multiple switch load values can be determined for the switch. Each switch load value can correspond to one of the multiple time parameters. Further, each switch load value can be determined according to a weighted score for each categorized network traffic and according to the loss potential information.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to providing package dependency maps for distributed computing. In example embodiments, a dependency map is obtained that includes software packages, where each software package is associated with a site and a distributed node of a distributed system. In response to a user selection of a target package in the dependency map, a referenced subset on which the target package depends and a dependent subset that depend on the target package are determined. At this stage, a display of the dependency map is updated to include the target package, the referenced subset, and the dependent subset in a graphical hierarchy.
