  • Publication number: 20240061699
Abstract: In examples, a virtual channel allocated to a virtual machine may be used to transmit image data representing a display surface to memory assigned to the display surface in a virtual address space of the virtual machine. A physical display engine may be configured to fetch the image data from the memory, perform desired transformations, and send the resulting output to the display surface to display. Privileged software may process requests from virtual machines for allocations or configurations of display surfaces and configure the physical display engine, a memory system, and/or other system components accordingly. Software running on a virtual machine may use virtual channels to submit the requests and transmit image data for display surfaces to memory using the virtual address space. A virtual channel may be provided by a virtual network adapter assigned to the virtual machine.

  • Publication number: 20140204005
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for distributed processing of overlapping portions of pixels. In use, a plurality of pixels to be processed utilizing a plurality of display processing modules across a plurality of interfaces are identified. Additionally, the pixels are apportioned into a plurality of overlapping portions of the pixels in accordance with a number of the display processing modules and display interfaces. Further, processing of the overlapping portions of the pixels is distributed across the display processing modules and the display interfaces in such way that the portions can be recombined into a single contiguous final image by a plurality display controllers.

  • Patent number: 8609053
Abstract: The present invention provides a process for the preparation of nanowires of metal oxides with dopant elements in lower valence state. The nanomaterials/materials with dopants in lower valence state are important as these exhibit markedly different characteristics than higher valence state materials of same composition. Nanowires show markedly enhanced properties in lateral direction. The invented process presents a procedure for preparation of different types of nanowires in oxide form that are useful for different applications. In this a precursor is ignited in a specially designed container/enclosure that produces the product with the described features. The process is simple and involves a single step/stage is of very short time per batch. The invention provides a process, which gives controlled size of nanowires and is suitable for the production of nanowires/nanomaterials of desired metal oxides with dopant elements in valence state.

  • Publication number: 20030183807
Abstract: Phosphor powder with the basic composition comprising alkaline earth metal aluminate, an activator such as Eu and a co activator has been disclosed. The said phosphor has been synthesized by use of alkaline earth metal salt along with single phase alumina, an activator and a co-activator. The after glow decay was found to be more than 150 hours. The process uses a reducing agent in the form of carbon or an organic compound of carbon.

  • Patent number: 5910468
Abstract: A process for the preparation of sulphurized calcium phenate from cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL). Distilled or hydrogenated distilled CNSL is reacted with calcium salt and sulphur in the presence of promoters to obtain a reaction mixture. The reaction mixture is subjected to the step of carbonation to obtain basic sulfurized calcium phenate, which may be subjected to a further step of basefication to obtain overbased sulphurized calcium phenate. Such a calcium phenate is added to lubricating oil or grease as an additive.
