    Abstract: A System and Method provides for a connection to a predetermined access point in an optimal time even when a network name of the access point is hidden. A computer apparatus comprises a connection list table for storing the identification information of a wireless network and the information indicating that the access point for connection to the network is a “hidden access point” having not issued the identification information in association with the identification information, and an access point switching software for confirming the connection by trying an actual connection to the “hidden access point” after getting the information from the connection list table, and for acquiring the predetermined identification information by scanning the identification information for designating a connection partner.
