    Abstract: To perform wireless communication scheduling, a network node (700) calculates a corresponding layer limit for each of a plurality of scheduling intervals of a cell (20) served to a plurality of user equipment via multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO). The network node (700) schedules time-frequency resource utilization such that, for each of the scheduling intervals, no time-frequency resource is scheduled for use by more of the UEs (200) than the layer limit corresponding to the scheduling interval.

    Abstract: A method is disclosed for multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) operation of an access node serving a plurality of user devices. The method comprises acquiring a speed category for a user device of the plurality of user devices and controlling the MU-MIMO operation in relation to the user device based on the speed category. In some embodiments, controlling the MU-MIMO operation in relation to the user device based on the speed category comprises one or more of: controlling reference signal transmission for the user device based on the speed category and controlling MU-MIMO group affiliation of the user device based on the speed category. In some embodiments, controlling reference signal transmission for the user device based on the speed category comprises controlling a duration of a time interval between subsequent reference signal transmissions for the user device based on the speed category.     Abstract: A method for controlling bandwidth part (BWP) allocation for a plurality of wireless communication devices (WCDs) is disclosed. The WCDs are organized in one or more multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) groups, wherein each MIMO group comprises WCDs with a current BWP allocation that falls within a BWP region associated with the MIMO group. The method comprises selecting one of the plurality of WCDs as a candidate WCD for MIMO group switch, and determining a first orthogonality metric between the candidate WCD and WCDs of a candidate MIMO group, wherein the candidate WCD is not currently comprised in the candidate MIMO group. When the first orthogonality metric meets a first orthogonality criterion, the method comprises updating the WP allocation for the candidate WCD, wherein the updated BWP allocation for the candidate WCD falls within the BWP region associated with the candidate MIMO group, and performing a MIMO group switch of the candidate WCD from its current MIMO group to the candidate MEM group.

    Abstract: A baseband processing unit (BPU) and method therein for segmenting data to be transferred into data packets and transferring data packets to a radio processing unit via a communication link. The BPU selects a certain amount of data among the data to be transferred and obtain a packet loss pattern of the communication link based on the current load and user scenario. The BPU segments the data to be transferred into data packets based on the packet loss pattern of the communication link such that the selected data are distributed to data packets to be transferred in a packet region where packet loss rate is lower than a packet loss threshold and transfers the data packets to the radio processing unit.
