  • Publication number: 20070048152
Abstract: A solar powered pump assembly delivers high pressure liquid in relatively small volumes. The assembly includes a d.c. motor powered by the solar panel having a gearmotor output shaft driving a multilobe cam which acts against a lever which in turn acts against a follower assembly to reciprocate an input rod of a small reciprocating pump. A voltmeter or voltage measuring circuit is used to detect the voltage output of the solar panel and battery and interrupt operation of the pump assembly in the event the voltage output thereof falls below a predetermined value. A stroke adjustment mechanism may be used to limit the range of oscillating movement of the lever thereby leading to a wide range of daily volume output of the reciprocating pump.

  • Patent number: 5244362
Abstract: A chemical injector system for wells includes a solenoid operated valve delivering bursts of supply gas to a piston driven chemical injector pump. The solenoid valve allows very low cycle rates and also avoids plugging up of the gas supply line because the bursts of supply gas create high enough velocities to keep water and debris moving. A stand having a spike and a plate welded thereto supports the injector pump.

  • Patent number: 4776775
Abstract: The liquid pressure capacity of a chemical injector pump is increased substantially by using high pressure gas to drive the gas motor. In one embodiment, the chemical injector pump includes a liquid pump end, a gas motor end, a low pressure position responsive valve, and a high pressure pilot operated valve manipulated by the low pressure valve for delivering high pressure gas to the gas motor. In other embodiments, the chemical injector pump includes a liquid pump end, a gas motor end, and a high pressure position responsive valve for directly delivering high pressure gas to the gas motor.
