    Abstract: Annular ferromagnetic yoke for deflection units for television display tubes, having a conical inner surface which defines a longitudinal axis, and having an outer surface in which a first set of three grooves extending in the axial direction and a second set of three grooves extending in the axial direction are provided diametrically opposite each other, the grooves having accurately ground bottoms and walls which form reference faces by which the position of the axis of the yoke is fixed.
