  • Publication number: 20230310938
Abstract: The present technology pertains to a method, an apparatus, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for fitness evaluation. An exemplary computer-implemented method includes receiving a request for benchmark data for a fitness evaluation, the request including demographic information for a participant in the fitness evaluation. The computer-implemented method further includes transmitting the benchmark data to a fitness evaluation application executed on a user computing device. The benchmark data enables the fitness evaluation application to capture performance data for the participant for the fitness evaluation, to generate a relative performance value by comparing the performance data to the benchmark data, and to present a visual indicator of the relative performance value. The computer-implemented method further includes receiving the performance data for the participant and updating the benchmark data based on the performance data.

  • Publication number: 20070141656
Abstract: The invention relates to methods of characterizing autoimmune diseases by detecting and measuring at least one analyte using multiplexed assay systems. According to one embodiment, a target is detected and measured by different bead sets having different reactants. According to another approach the ratio of self-antigen to autoantibody is measured by exposing a sample suspected of containing self-antigen and autoantibody to a bead set associated with monoclonal antibody specific for the self-antigen and a bead set associated with the self-antigen.

  • Patent number: 6997730
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a first cable contact with a mating surface and a retaining surface, a housing, a retaining device, and at least one groove. The housing defines a first passage for receiving the first cable contact, a second passage for mating with a portion of a second cable contact, and an opening which extends to one end of the first passage. The retaining device is mounted in the first passage and engages with at least a portion of the retaining surface of the first cable contact to detachably retain the first cable contact in the first passage. The groove is formed in the retaining surface of the first cable contact. The opening in the housing is in communication with the groove.

  • Patent number: 4829956
Abstract: A method detects the magnitude of knock in an internal combustion engine. Each knock is quantified into a discrete level which gives an indication of the operating condition of the engine. The discrete level signals provide information helpful during engine calibration and engine monitoring. After a predetermined number of level signals indicative of preselected magnitudes of knock are received, an engine shutdown signal is delivered which ceases engine operation.
