    Abstract: In a turbofan jet engine, having a circumferentially rotatable mixer segment capable of orienting the afterburner ignitors and flameholders into the path of either the exhaust gases or bypass air, a fuel-air transfer apparatus for capturing, transporting and the releasing of an enriched fuel-air concentration from the fuel spray bars, on the stationary structure of the jet engine, to the afterburner ignitors and flameholders rigidly attached at the rear of the rotatable segment of the mixer. The enriched fuel-air mixture is transported between a location of reliable fuel availability, through a region of highly turbulent gas flow and is thereafter released while still in an enriched concentration immediately upstream of the ignitors and flameholders, facilitating ignition and sustained operation of the afterburner.

    Abstract: An integrated process for removal of hydrogen sulfide and water from a natural gas stream by contacting a natural gas stream containing hydrogen sulfide, water, and CO.sub.2 with molecular sieves that act both as an adsorbent for hydrogen sulfide and water and as a catalyst for the reaction for conversion of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide to carbonyl sulfide. About 92 to about 95 volume percent of an inlet natural gas stream is passed into contact with molecular sieves to produce a salable gas. A portion of this salable gas is used as regeneration fluid for the molecular sieve contactors and the regeneration gas effluent from the regeneration process is diluted with the remainder of the inlet gas stream and subjected to further adsorption/conversion contact with molecular sieves to produce salable gas that is mixed with the first treated gas stream.

    Abstract: Steam which is free of condensate is supplied to a fluid jet yarn texturing device. The steam is obtained by passing saturated steam through a condensate separator and then through a superheater. The amount of heat supplied by the superheater is regulated in response to a measurement of the temperature of the steam introduced into the texturing device.
