  • Publication number: 20050193644
Abstract: A standing seam roof assembly in which a male sidelap extends from one side edge of a panel and a female sidelap extends from the opposing side edge. The female sidelap, supporting a sealant bead, is shaped fit over the male sidelap. A clip member has a clip tab shaped to be seamed with the male and female sidelaps to connect the standing seam assembly in the assembled mode. The clip tab, having a clip inclined portion with at least one sealant flow hole, with the male and female sidelaps forms lower and upper sealant chambers along a clip tab, the sealant flow hole communicating between the upper sealant chamber and the lower sealant chamber to spread sealant to encapsulate the clip tab. The clip has a clip body slidably connected to a clip base having protruding bearing feet to penetrate and compress insulation when mounted to support structure.

  • Patent number: 4923230
Abstract: A security lock for a double-hung sash window assembly which is to be mounted on a stile of one of the sash frames to limit movement of the second sash frame relative to the one sash. The lock includes a casing adapted to be mounted within a recess formed in one of the sash frames, a faceplate of the casing having an opening therein communicating with an interior casing cavity. A tumbler pivots in the cavity and is spring biased to normally project through the opening to engage the second sash. A leaf spring is mounted completely within the casing cavity normally to bias the tumbler into its locking position, but permitting the tumbler to be retracted into the casing. The lock can be supplied as an assembled unit for installation.

  • Patent number: 4791756
Abstract: A latch for a pivotal window sash used in a double-hung window assembly. The latch is mounted internally in a sash frame member with its latch bolt protruding from the sash to engage in the guide rail of the main frame jamb of the window assembly. There is a finger manipulative control button external of the sash frame for releasing the bolt from said guide rail so that the window sash can be pivoted. The latch bolt is mounted under spring tension to maintain the bolt normally in a locked position. The several latch parts including the spring are maintained together in assembly as a unit to thereafter be installed in said window sash.

  • Patent number: 4581850
Abstract: A unitary pivot corner member having a separate pivot pin for engaging the sash balance of a double-hung sash window assembly and a slide guide integral with the member for riding in a guide rail of the master frame jamb of the window assembly. A pair of the same members are installed at opposing bottom corners of a sash window. Each of the slide guides rides in a guide rail and functions to retain the engaged guide rail in square alignment relative to the sash window whereby to eliminate gapping between the sash window and master frame jamb as the sash window is slided.

  • Patent number: 4006437
Abstract: A band-pass filter comprising a plurality of coupled electromechanical filters is disclosed. Each electromechanical filter has a frequency pass-band centered about a fundamental frequency and a plurality of higher frequency pass-bands which are centered about overtones of the fundamental frequency. At least one of the electromechanical filters has a fundamental frequency that is different from the other filters and all the filters have a common overtone frequency. The band-pass filter will pass all frequencies falling within the band about the common overtone frequency, while all other frequencies will be suppressed.
