  • Publication number: 20230148291
Abstract: The present application discloses a propulsion system and method which provides thrust without propellant. The basic propulsion system comprises a means of motion to convey rotary motion to a rotor carrying a rotor magnet generating a magnetic field that interact magnetically with the stationary magnetic field originating in a stator magnet. Magnetic interactions between the moving magnetic field from the rotor magnet travels through the stationary magnetic field space in the stator magnet and generates; a gyroscopic force and a Lorentz force without the ejection of propellant, without reliance on an external mass to react against, and without reaction as recognized in the Newton's Third Law Exception in accordance with the established principles in electrodynamics and modern physics.

  • Patent number: 8981608
Abstract: One embodiment of the new method of propulsion is an electron magnetic drive with an array of rotor electromagnets (28A-28L) operating in the non inertial frame of reference produced by the rotation (33) of the rotor (26); linked by a magnetic field from the electromagnets (28A-28L) to the inertial frame of reference of the stationary stator electromagnet (40); generate a propulsive reaction force (45) in accordance with Newton's third law of motion. The electromagnets (28A-28L) mounted on the rotor (26), when energized for a time interval generate a magnetic field that engages the magnetic field of the energized stator electromagnet (40). The magnetic field engagement produces magnetic forces of attraction and repulsion with the like and unlike magnetic polarities of the energized stationary electromagnet (40) and the corresponding energized electromagnet (28A-28L) in the rotor (26).

  • Publication number: 20140070632
Abstract: One embodiment of a propellantless propulsion device is a propulsion platform (40) comprising a base frame (42) with a permanent magnet (44) that provides the magnetic forces of attraction that accelerates a steel ball conveyor (48) toward the magnetic field of the permanent magnet (44) to generate a propulsive thrust (50) without the ejection of a mass of propellant from the platform (40). Another embodiment of a propellantless propulsion device is a magnetic flux drive (52) comprising a closed circuit (56) mounted on a base frame (54) with a magnetic accelerator (58) and a magnetic decelerator (60) that generates a propellantless propulsive thrust (64) with the energy of motion of a ferromagnetic conveyor (62). Other embodiments are described and shown.

  • Publication number: 20070295164
Abstract: A propellantless propulsion device comprising a rotary platform to carry and convey rotary energy to a plurality of weights in orbit about a center of revolution. The weights are arranged in such a manner as to provide a continuous distribution of mass on one side of the rotary drive during a cycle of revolution. The continuous distribution of mass generates a continuous output of unbalanced centrifugal force components in one direction. A device for reducing the weights' radius of gyration for a portion of the total time in orbit about the center of revolution; the device may include the counter-rotation of the weights for that segment of travel in the orbital trajectory. The reduction in radius of gyration minimizes the magnitude of the centrifugal force components produced in the direction opposing the desired direction of propulsion. The variations in the trajectory of the weights' orbit generate the unbalanced centrifugal force components that generate a propellantless propulsion force in one direction.
