Abstract: A shoulder platform that is well-balanced and stable on an operator's shoulder when the camera is mounted on the platform, allowing hands-free balance of the mounted camera. The shoulder platform has an elongated bent frame, a shoulder mount affixed below the frame, a compartment front mounted on the frame above the shoulder mount, two sides mounted above and along the sides of the frame, shelves, storage compartments for camera components and accessories, a latch mechanism, an elongated compartment attached to the lowest shelf that can be latched to the latch mechanism, and means so that the supported camera mounted on the camera mount piece may be placed in different positions for photographing subject matter while keeping the shoulder platform stationary on the operator's shoulder.

Abstract: An improved parking lot pavement analysis system is described that analyzes field survey data and generates a report which provides the necessary information to make the most cost-effective maintenance and repair decisions for commercial and residential parking lots. The pavement analysis system can be implemented on an existing PC computer to provide a user-friendly way of standardizing and guiding the visual survey and pavement sampling to determine existing conditions. The pavement analysis system guides entry of data indicating the pavement's existing condition, and then calculates and recommends maintenance and repair options. The calculations are based on an expert diagnostic system analysis which substantially reduces the requirement for expert interpretation. A complete life cycle cost analysis is performed, and this allows the user to make an informed decision about what type repairs are most appropriate for a particular situation.

Abstract: A method of producing a cold mix asphalt paving composition by:(a) separating non-asphalt impurities from an asphalt rubble obtained from a reclaimed asphalt pavement to produce a purified asphalt rubble;(b) comminuting said purified asphalt rubble to obtain sized asphalt-aggregate mixture;(c) testing said sized asphalt-aggregate mixture to determine the percent of asphalt present in said asphalt-aggregate mixture; and(d) blending an asphalt emulsion with said asphalt-aggregate mixture in an amount so as to yield a cold mix asphalt pavement composition comprising from about 4.0% to about 6.5% by weight of asphalt.The cold mix asphalt paving composition is used to coat roadway surfaces, parking lots, driveways, and the like. Once the cold mix asphalt paving composition has been applied to a surface, a top coat may be overcoated onto the cold mix asphalt pavement.
