Patent number: 12244512Abstract: Reservations of resources within a dynamic workspace are made and facilitated including by pushing configurations specific to a worker for whom a reservation is made to the resource for a limited time period for the reservation. When the worker arrives for the reservation and checks in, configurations associated with the worker are obtained and pushed to the resource to configure the resource for use by the worker for a time period of the reservation. In some cases, an identity of the worker may be verified to complete the check in process for the reservation. In response to an end time of the reservation being determined, such as based on a scheduled end time for the reservation or based on a determination that the resource has gone unused for some amount of time, the configurations are removed from the resource to prepare the resource for use by a next worker.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2023Date of Patent: March 4, 2025Assignee: Zoom Communications, Inc.Inventors: Cynthia Eshiuan Lee, Harold David Moseley, Jeffrey William Smith

Patent number: 12218497Abstract: A disclosed switching apparatus, such as a circuit breaker, includes a transistor switch circuit connected between a power input terminal and a load terminal, and, connected to the power input terminal and bypassing the transistor switch circuit, a switchable bypass leg that is optically switched by a series-connected photoconductive semiconductor switch (PCSS). The transistor switch circuit includes at least one cascade of three or more series-connected transistors, and at least one resistor network configured to divide a voltage from a voltage source across a cascade of series-connected transistors. Operating the switch apparatus includes detecting whether a sensed electric current is in a fault condition, opening the transistor switch circuit upon detecting a fault condition, and then closing the PCSS so that the electric current is diverted onto a switchable bypass path. The opening of the transistor switch circuit comprises turning OFF a normally-ON transistor switch circuit.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2022Date of Patent: February 4, 2025Assignees: National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC, UNM Rainforest InnovationsInventors: Gregory Pickrell, Jason Christopher Neely, Lee Gill, Jacob Mueller, Luciano Andres Garcia Rodriguez, Jack David Flicker, Emily Ann Schrock, Robert Kaplar, Harold P. Publication number: 20240091277Abstract: Therapeutic modalities are provided involving the use of specific repertoirs of PRR ligands to ameliorate immune dysregulation in a perioperative period. In effect, innate immune system signaling is provoked in the perioperative period so as to facilitate a targeted immune response following surgery. Subjects may accordingly be treated with immunogenic formulations tailored to a specific target tissue to treat a subject during the perioperative period surrounding surgery to remove a solid tumor, where the target tissue is the site of the tumor or a characteristic site of metastasis for the cancer.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2022Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Harold David Gunn, Shirin Kalyan, Michael Alex Ander Kennedy, Rebecca Ann Craufurd Auer, Christiano Tanese De Souza, Ting Ting Alice Lau

Patent number: 11922347Abstract: The future presence of a worker in a dynamic workspace which includes resources for temporary use may be signaled to other workers. In response a first worker making a reservation of a resource, a second worker to indicate the future presence of that first worker to is determined based on communication records associated with the first worker and the second worker. An indication of the reservation of the resource for the first worker, and thus the future presence of that first worker in an office which includes that reserved resource, is accordingly signaled to the second worker. A suggested resource for the second worker may then be determined based on the reservation of the resource for the first worker. In response to the second worker making a reservation of the suggested resource, a reservation record indicating the reservation of the suggested resource for the second worker may then be generated.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2021Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: Zoom Video Communications, Inc.Inventors: Cynthia Eshiuan Lee, Harold David Moseley, Jeffrey William Smith

Publication number: 20210283008Abstract: A medical device system is disclosed that includes a wearable harness worn, during use, on a torso of a subject. Engines coupled to the wearable harness may apply an oscillation force to at least one treatment area of the subject in order to mobilize at least some secretions in an airway within the subject substantially adjacent to the at least one treatment area. The wearable harness may be secured on the subject using one or more straps coupled to the wearable harness. A controller may determine a tension force applied by at least one of the straps by receiving, measurements of at least one property from a force sensing element (e.g., a force sensor) integrated with the strap. The tension force may also be correlated to forces being applied to the subject by the engines.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 24, 2021Publication date: September 16, 2021Inventors: Harold David Shockley, JR., Geoffrey Albert Marcek, Robert Wiley Ellis

Patent number: 11020826Abstract: A method for repairing damage to a fuel pump assembly of a locomotive is provided that includes identifying a void within a fluid cavity of a fuel pump assembly. After identifying the void within the fluid cavity of the fuel pump assembly, the void is cleaned with a cleaning product, and a filler material is inserted within the void. Then the filler material is laser welded to repair the void. After being laser welded, the fluid cavity of the fuel pump assembly is honed.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2019Date of Patent: June 1, 2021Assignee: TRANSPORTATION IP HOLDINGS, LLCInventors: Jesse A. Patent number: 11013659Abstract: In some embodiments, a system and/or method may include an inner wearable harness worn, during use, on a torso of a subject which includes a flexible vest. The system may include a plurality of engines, each of which are contained in a flexible container, which when activated apply an oscillation force. The system may include a positioning system which allows positioning the flexible container such that the oscillation force is applied to at least one treatment area of the subject. The oscillation force may mobilize, during use, at least some secretions in an airway within the subject substantially adjacent the treatment area. The system may include an outer harness worn, during use, on a torso of a subject. The outer wearable harness, when activated, adjusts the oscillation force applied by at least some of the activated plurality of engines to the treatment area by providing a compressive force.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 2015Date of Patent: May 25, 2021Assignee: International Biophysics CorporationInventors: Harold David Shockley, Jr., Geoffrey Albert Marcek, Robert Wiley Ellis

Patent number: 10973734Abstract: In some embodiments, a system may include an inner wearable harness including a flexible vest. The system may include at least one engine which when activated apply an oscillation force. The at least one engine is positioned after the vest has been positioned on the subject on different areas of the inner wearable harness to allow selective placement of engines on and/or adjacent areas of the subject's chest such that the oscillation force is applied to at least one treatment area. The oscillation force may mobilize, during use, at least some secretions in an airway within the subject substantially adjacent the treatment area. The system may include a flexible and elastic outer harness worn, during use, on a torso of a subject which when activated provides a compressive force to adjust the oscillation force applied by at least some of the at least one engine to the treatment area.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 2015Date of Patent: April 13, 2021Assignee: International Biophysics CorporationInventors: Harold David Shockley, Jr., Geoffrey Albert Marcek, Robert Wiley Ellis
