    Abstract: A device for securing and restraining an intravenous line while the line is inserted into the arm of a patient including a fabric wrap anchorable by the patient's thumb and circumscribable about the patient's hand for detachable attachment to itself while sandwiching a loop of the intravenous line therebetween. A slit is provided to pass the intravenous loop through the wrap for engagement by the thumb.
