  • Pressure responsive control unit employing snap action diaphragm

    Abstract: A control unit is disclosed comprising a pressure transducer assembly and an attached output switch assembly. The transducer includes rigid body members clamped together and defining a chamber between them, a snap acting diaphragm extending through the chamber, and high and low pressure event controlling mechanisms for adjusting the pressure levels at which the diaphragm snap moves. A motion transfer pin extends from the transducer to the switch assembly to operate a control switch in response to diaphragm motion.
