Abstract: An impact barrier system comprising a plurality of bow-shaped panels attached to a retaining wall in overlapping side-by-side relationship that, together with the configuration of the panels, provides a plurality of impact absorbing features that work together to absorb the impact of a vehicle and transfer the force of the impact across multiple panels. The panels are resilient and predisposed to assume their original configuration after the impact.

Abstract: A golf game device comprises a base unit side to carry a simulated ball and provide a horizontal pad section simulating a driving surface. A stant unit is sized to receive the feet of the golfer in this stance when the base unit is positioned to one side of the stand unit for driving of the simulated ball. The stand unit is formed as a case into which the base unit can be inserted. A separate arm carries a display head which can be attached to one side of the base unit by a receptacle on the base unit or can be attached to the opposed side of the base unit so the base unit can be used either by left handed or right handed golfer with a display head facing inwardly toward the golfer. The display head includes only a simple digital distance display together with LED hook and slice display and a speaker to generate a string of pulses simulating ball flight.

Abstract: An active band pass filter is provided in which the band pass or resonant frequency can be varied. The band pass filter comprises a differential amplifier having a pair of input resistors wherein the input signal is fed through both input resistors and to both the inverting and noninverting inputs of the differential amplifier. Second order feedback to the inverting input is provided through an RC parallel combination while a capacitor provides differential feedback to the noninverting input of the differential amplifier. A variable resistor is electrically connected between the non-inverting input and ground and is used to vary the pass band or resonant frequency of the band pass filter.

Abstract: A machine for holding a release sheet on which emblem substrates are mounted while plastic is cast on the substrates and for holding the release sheet and substrates and curing the plastic includes a radiation source which is movable into a position above the release sheet. The platen holding the release sheet has a first cavity which is partially evacuated and which communicates with the upper surface of the platen through a plurality of openings. A second cavity in the platen receives temperature stabilizing fluid. Control circuitry is provided permitting alteration of the operation sequence of the machine.
