    Abstract: Extendable and retractable conveyors feature guide members whose cooperation is substantially limited to that necessary for guiding the conveyor during extension and retraction. The conveyor may be formed by several nestable conveyor segments. The guide members are mounted to, or formed by, different portions of the conveyor segments such that they slidably cooperate to guide the conveyor during extension and retraction in different environments without the conveyor jamming or binding.
